American Chopper which aired on Discovery

The American Chopper: A Family Divided special show, which aired on Discovery in the beginning of the week, appears to have been only the beginning of the show's return to the Discovery Channel. Until now aired by sister television TLC as American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior, the very successful story of the Teutul family will come back to where it all started on Monday, December 6.

The switch is attributed to Clark Bunting, the channel's general manager, who also has made a comeback to Discovery.
"American Chopper" is motoring back to Discovery Channel.
The franchise, which introduced the Orange County Choppers family to Discovery viewers in 2003, moved to sister cabler TLC in 2007.
"American Chopper" actually first returned to Discovery this past Monday, Nov. 29, with the special "American Chopper: A Family Divided."
Bunting said he's been looking to build up the channel's brands, and "Chopper" has its roots at Discovery.
A lot has changed with "American Chopper" since its original Discovery days.
Called American Chopper: A Family Divided, the show is intended to be a completely new approach to the problems the Teutuls have had recently.

“In the emotional new November 29 special, the Teutul family take a close look at where their family is now and how and why it fell apart,” Discovery's show synopsis reads.

“New interviews from all three explore the key events that led to Paul Sr.'s estrangement from his sons. Perhaps American Chopper: A Family Divided will shed some more light on Sr.'s reasons for drifting away from his sons.
